About Kimba

My Gifts

I’m grateful that I get to use my gifts to help others because I am living my calling. Recently, I was reminded my gifts are for me too and they help me heal with every passing day. Just goes to show that I’m not perfect and am still learning and growing. I have a knack for being able to guide people to the tools and resources they need to heal. I’ve spent a lifetime developing the tools I work with and it’s a magical combination of coaching, energy work, spirituality and body work.

Many purple moons ago I graduated from the University of Montevallo. I studied speech, theatre, English and art. It was at Montevallo that I started journaling because it was required classwork. A few years later I graduated from the American Institute of Holistic Theology. My classes included aromatherapy, color and music therapy, nutrition and movement. It was through my education that I began to learn how to blend art with holistic health.

Mind, Body and Spirit Connection

I am fascinated by the Mind, Body and Spirit connection. Over the last 20 years I have taken over 150 classes and am a Reiki Master in the Usui Tradition. My gift is being able to share what I have learned, and I’ve done this through classes, workshops, group work, coaching sessions and magazine articles.

Creative Life Coaching

Eleven years ago, I started life coaching even though I didn’t know that’s what I was doing. It didn’t take me long to find classes and books on life coaching. My training programs include:

  • Martha Beck Life Coach Training
  • Kaizen Muse Creativity Coaching
  • International Coaching Federation Training and Certification
  • Life Reimagined Coaching
  • Nine Modern Day Muse Training

My coaching style reflects bits and pieces from each of these programs because I kept what I liked and tossed what I didn’t. In my coaching sessions, I just show up and hold the space. I offer love, support and guidance as you figure out what you need to know. To date I have provided over 850 coaching sessions and over 50 online coaching classes.

Kimba Livesay was a superstar while serving as a coach for Life Reimagined, providing excellent coaching services to our clients. She received client satisfaction ratings of over 95%. They loved her enthusiasm and creativity. Kimba also actively worked with me to improve the Life Reimagined service portfolio and client experience. I found her insight invaluable for the coaching operations. Kimba’s enthusiasm and positive attitude are contagious and help clients achieve effective results. –Colin Callahan, Director of Coaching Services for Life Reimagined

I’ve also led over a hundred workshops across the county. Topics include aromatherapy, healing with music, self-coaching, energy work, and many more. Clients include AARP, the California Department of Aging and World Relief. You can learn more about my professional career on LinkedIn.

Magical Cottage

I am grateful I live in a magical cottage located in Northern California. I live with my spouse Julie and our daughter Whitney. We host 4 cats and my very special friend Olivia, the Boston Terrier. My days are spent researching, healing, working with clients and writing. At twilight you can find us in our enchanted garden where we entertain friends and fairies.
