Creative & Holistic Coaching
I help people create well-being through mind, body and spirit activities. Drumming, dance and healing music can literally “tune” your inner being. Reiki, Fire Yoga, mediation and prayer connects you to not only yourself and others but to Spirit. Paying attention to your temple pod creates a stable vehicle for you to live life. And finally, creating an art journal provides you with a written witness to your healing journey. I’ve spent a life time learning how to engage with these healing activities and how to be a creative well~being coach.
Many purple moons ago I graduated from the University of Montevallo. I studied speech, theatre, English, and art. Subsequently, it was at Montevallo that I started journaling as it was required classwork. I loved it and it’s been with me a lifetime. I’ve even created a Kaleido Journaling program. I am also a graduate of the American Institute of Holistic Theology. My classwork included nutrition, aromatherapy, color, and music therapy.
Mind, Body and Spirit Classes
I have taken hundreds of healing classes and am a Reiki Master in the Usui Tradition. That’s good for you because you benefit from my knowledge. One of my gifts is being able to teach what I have learned, and I’ve done this through classes, workshops, group work, coaching sessions, and magazine articles. I believe that when we open our heart to love we can heal our mind, body, and Spirit.
Life & Creativity Coaching
I started life coaching many years ago, even though I didn’t know that’s what I was doing. It didn’t take me long to find classes and books on life, wellness and creativity coaching. Some of my training programs include:
- Martha Beck Life Coach Training
- Kaizen Muse Creativity Coaching
- International Coaching Federation Training and Certification
- Life Reimagined Coaching
- Nine Modern Day Muse Training
I deeply care for those I work with. I offer love, support and guidance as you figure out what you need to know. To date I have provided over 850 coaching sessions and over 50 online coaching classes.

I am grateful I live in a magical cottage located in Northern California. I live with my spouse Julie and our daughter Whitney. We host 3 cats and my very special friends Olivia and Pippa, the Boston Terriers. My days are spent researching, healing, working with clients, creating and writing. At twilight you can find us in our enchanted garden where we entertain friends and fairies.
