About Kimba

Kimba Livesay

We all have wings

Two major life-changing health issues changed the very core of who I am. I see things very differently for myself because I took the opportunity to learn and grow from illness. I learned how to create well-being and heal myself. The proof? My first teacher came 18 years ago, I had a major heart attack. I made changes and have not had one cardiovascular event since. My second teacher was brain cancer. It’s been 2 ½ years and I’m cancer free. I don’t think of myself as sick, ill or broken because I’m not.

I know how to create well-being and heal. At the center of healing is joy, love and gratitude. Healing activities are different for each one of us. I found grace in prayer, meditation, music, healthy food, exercise, sleep, art and energy medicine.

I believe we all have the capacity to create well-being. That’s why I coach and teach others how to get unstuck from illness and navigate their own well-being for the mind, body and spirt. I believe we all have wings and can reach unimaginable heights in what we can create.

Learning

I graduated from the University of Montevallo where I studied speech, theatre, English, and art. I’m also a graduate of the American Institute of Holistic Theology. My classwork included nutrition, energy healing, aromatherapy, color therapy, and music therapy. I am a Reiki Master in the Usui Tradition and a Angi (fire) meditation Yoga teacher. I am constantly learning by reading, taking classes and talking to others.

Magical Cottage

I am grateful that I live in a magical cottage located in Northern California. I live with my spouse Julie and our daughter Whitney. We host 3 cats and my very special friends Olivia and Pippa, the Boston Terriers. My days are spent researching, healing, working with clients, creating and writing. At twilight you can find us in our enchanted garden where we entertain friends and fairies. All are welcomed.
