Class Schedule for 2021
Creative well-being classes combine coaching, teaching and expressive arts into a safe, relaxed and supportive environment. The goal is to discover more about what you need to create well-being and connect with others who are doing the same.
Due to COVID all 2021 classes will be held on Zoom. Class size will be kept small so that we can have quality interactions. Please join my mailing list for class days and times.
Introduction to Kaleido Journaling for Self-Discovery
Start your very own Kaleido Journal for Self-Discovery! Learn how to express your emotions, thoughts and feeling though color, symbols, images and words.
In this class we will create two Kaleido Pages, the Inner Lizard and the Gratitude Spiral. I will guide you through the process of acknowledging the messages of your fears and limitations. And how to break free by using a simple gratitude technique.
You don’t need expensive supplies to start a Kaleido Journal. Grab a shoe box and fill it with items you already have. Include an 8×11 journal with blank pages along with pens, pencils, crayons, ink stamps, photos, stickers, flowers, buttons, yard and glue. Select colorful supplies that bring you joy!
Creative Self-Care for Well-Being
Using creativity for well-being offers amazing benefits that include anxiety and stress reduction, lower blood pressure, reduced pain, increased joy, better focus and improved immune function. This interactive creative self-care class will give a brief introduction into three types of expressive arts: writing, music and painting.
I will show you a powerful healing writing technique that can help you feel happier and less anxious. All you need is a pen and a few sheets of paper. No worries about grammar or spelling either! Music is a powerful master healer. You will learn how to tune your inner rhythms for vibrant health and well-being. And finally, we will paint! We combine intuition and meditation to release what we need to see. You will need a set of Crayola watercolors, a brush, glass jar of water, paper towels and an 8 ½ x 11 watercolor pad. This class is very interactive and uplifting!
