Healing verses Curing

You can cure a disease without healing, and you can heal without curing. Curing means eliminating all evidence of disease. Healing means becoming whole. When we focus on the mind, body and spirit connection we facilitate healing. My coaching sessions focus on what you need in order to become whole.

Who I Work With

I work with a diverse population. Some of my clients want to heal chronic health issues like heart disease, diabetes, cancer. Others want to heal from emotional, mental and spiritual heartache. All of my clients are wide open to possibilities and want to go deeper into self-care. Healing from the inside out is not an easy journey but I think it’s worth the effort because it gives us a better understanding of ourselves, spiritual substance and improved relationships.

What Happens in a Coaching Session?

The session starts with a 3-minute gratitude grounding meditation. Gratitude is the pathway to joy. Joy removes us from fear so that we can heal. We cannot heal in fear. After the meditation we focus on what you need to know in order to continue to move forward in your healing journey. Each session is different because each person brings a unique set of challenges. It is important for you to understand that you guide the conversation and I hold you in love, support, compassion and understanding.

The last 15-minutes of the session we will agree on coaching tools and resources for the next week. Examples of coaching tools include worksheets like the credit report, ideal day or the body compass. I may also suggest articles, books and videos. Resources will include music, books, meditations, simple breathing exercises, journeying, aromatherapy, nutrition ideas and more. Sessions are 50 minutes long and we meet face to face by Skype, Facetime or Zoom.

What Happens After a Coaching Session?

After the session I encourage clients to work in their Kaleido Journals. Your journal is a place to live in color, dream big, give yourself credit, forgive and process what you are learning. It is a container that witnesses your growth and healing journey. Check out what others have done in their journals. You may also wish to check in by e-mail or text.

Appointments

The first step is to contact me by e-mail or on social media. Please share with me why you want to work with me. If I believe I can help you, I will set up a coaching call. This call will last about twenty minutes and give us both the opportunity to see if we can work together. If we agree to work together I will e-mail you a coaching agreement that will include information on session time, payment and coaching guidelines. I do not work with contacts and you can cancel coaching at any time.

What Does a Session Cost?

I use a sliding scale for session fees. It is adjusted to meet the needs or income of clients. If we decide to work together, we will discuss payment.
