Healing verses Curing
You can cure a disease without healing, and you can heal without curing. Curing means eliminating all evidence of disease. Healing means becoming whole. When we focus on the mind, body and spirit connection we facilitate healing. My coaching sessions focus on what you need to create wholeness and that’s different for each person.
Who do I work with?
People work with me for many different reasons. Some want to heal chronic health issues like heart disease, diabetes and cancer. Others want to heal from emotional, mental and spiritual heartache. Most are looking for possibilities and want to go deeper into self-care. Healing from the inside out is not an easy journey but I believe it’s worth the effort. It offers us the gifts of self-awareness, better relationships with others and a stronger bond with the Divine.
What Happens in a Coaching Session?
Coaching sessions are 50 minutes and we meet in person or face to face on Zoom. The session starts with a 5-minute gratitude grounding meditation. Gratitude is the pathway to joy. That’s important because joy removes us from fear so that we can begin to heal. We cannot heal in fear.
After meditation we focus on what you need to know in order to continue to move forward in your healing journey. Each session is different because each person brings a unique set of challenges. It is important for you to understand that you guide the conversation and I hold you in love, support, compassion and understanding.
The last 15-minutes of the session we will agree on coaching tools and resources for the next week. Examples of coaching tools include worksheets like the credit report, ideal day or the body compass. I may also suggest articles, books and videos. Resources will include music, books, meditations, simple breathing exercises, journaling, aromatherapy, nutrition ideas and more.
What Happens After a Coaching Session?
After the session I encourage clients to work in their Kaleido Journals. Your journal is a place to live in color, dream big, give yourself credit, forgive and process what you are experiencing. It is a container that witnesses your growth and healing journey.
In between sessions is where the real work takes place. I encourage clients to check in by e-mail or text so that we can address any issues that are hindering forward movement.
How do I make an appointment?
Thinking about coaching with me? Then please schedule a complementary 15-minute Meet & Greet session. This gives us a chance to briefly meet and discuss what support you need as you create well-being. Together we will decide if I’m the right person to best help you. This is a no cost, no pressure and no obligation meeting.
What does a coaching session cost?
I use a sliding scale fee range from $85-$200. If we decide to work together, we will discuss payment terms and options.
